Pilot in Gracanica

Currently starting a pilot class on IT essentials(A+), an entry level on IT training in Gracanica, facilitated
by the Ministry of Labor and Social Welfare center for training in Gracanica and supported
by Luxemburg agency for development. It is aimed to promote values of IT trainings in this area.

Scholarship Scheme

IDI just finished its scholarship activity with great success and was able to incorporate more than
180 new students that would benefit from programs offered by IDI in Cisco Networking Academy
Programs and Linux Professional Institute certification trainings.



Linux Training

IDI in cooperation with Phogen the regional LPI/ATP (Linux Professional Institute/Accredited Training
Partner) started the first Linux training courses in the region. Linux certification is a solid base to start
promoting and preparing IT professionals for the ever growing competitive job market.



IT training outside Prishtina

IDI supported by Luxemburg Agency for Development and backed up by the Ministry of Labor
and Social Welfare (MLSW) trained 80 job seekers registered by the MLSW in Peja, Mitrovica, Gjilan
and Prizren regions.



Creation of Training center all over Kosova

IDI started in 2007 in creating local partners in cities / municipalities all over Kosovo in order to
promote and facilitate IT trainings. It started modestly but now numbers 6 training center in Peja,
Mitrovica, Prishtina, Ferizaj, Gjilan and Prizren and from September preparations were made to
start in Gjakova as well.



Elearning

An E- learning system was developed by IDI and it consists of a multimedia interface and a
knowledge sharing platform where students can continue to expand and refresh their knowledge.
